Yes, I got the same message on 1 Uploaded WU this morning ...

SETI@home - 2004-08-07 04:36:45 - Started upload of 02ja04ab.18465.8993.940902.124_0_0
SETI@home - 2004-08-07 04:36:48 - Finished upload of 02ja04ab.18465.8993.940902.124_0_0
SETI@home - 2004-08-07 04:36:48 - No data transferred

But it was the only one I have noticed so far...I don't know if there's a new bug going around or what but a few people made the same error posts yesterday also...???

I have not noticed this, I have uploaded maybe 13wu's in the past 3 days,
using Redhat9 have uploaded 10wu's, using windows98SE have uploaded 3.
Am assuming a "bug" and not the platform, will keep my eyes open on
this one.

BOINC is using persistent file transfer, that automatically saves progress if stopped and does exponential backoff to avoid flooding servers. Since it saves progress, it continues from the same place and doesn't re-start at zero.

If for any reason you misses the "ok finished uploaded" from the server, next time it will re-start upload from the end-of-file, immediately get "ok finished" and check the upload-speed. If xfer_speed is less than 0 it displays "no data transferred" otherwise it displays the xfer_speed.

Ahhh I never did know the answer to that (but figured it would be benign)

Thankyou Ingleside, handy information to know.
