Running XP, loaded BOINC last night. I don't see any transmitt results buttons and my PC woke me this A.M. trying to connect to ISP.
1. How do I disable the auto-connect?
2. How do I manually transmit results?

1. File -> Disable BOINC Network Access. (Has to be reset everytime after downloading a unit, though).

2. Projects tab, rightclick the running project, Update.

A better step 2 is to just re-enable the network access. This allows all communications to proceed normally. If this machine is set up for multiple projects, it will download from the project that is most behind.
