Hi...
Am the only active member of my team now, and would like to keep it alive, so how do i go about taking over the team? i dont want to start a new one??

The answer is simple: You can't. It's the founder alone who has 'administrator rights' for the team.
So my suggestion is: Either contact the founder or join another team or found a new one.
