I have finished the work I was sent and when I read the messages it says that my machine has asked for 0 work and been sent 0 work. I would like to continue but can't figure out the problem. |

Are you connected to other projects? If so BOINC thinks it has enough work and will request more after the debt is worked off....or you need to shut BOINC down and reboot your computer and then try an update of the project... And the beat goes on Sonny and Cher BOINC Wiki |

In the past I had both Einstein & SETI as active projects sharing resources at 50%. I did this because sometimes one project wouldn't download WU. Now I only have Einstein running and SETI does not request WU. Has there been some change that requires me to only have 1 project available to run at any one time? |

Now I only have Einstein running and SETI does not request WU. There hasn't been any such change. What resource shares do you have for SETI & Einstein? When BOINC doesn't think it needs work for a project, when it think that another needs the time to make up a long-term debt, it won't download the first project for a while. Check the Wiki for information on the Work Scheduler to help understand what's happening. MJ |
