Boinc server 3.21 is indeed faster but has some scheduler problems and does not distribute any WUs at the moment. We are working on this and hope to have it fixed asap.

We're back online. Sorry we have been gone for a while again, but we have upgraded the boinc server to the latest version 3.21 which is supposed to give us a big performance boost. At the moment the system is running again and we are submitting work! More details will follow later in the CS updates.

The network problems today have created a high load condition on the P@H server. We are working to recover the server performance. In the meanwhile we have stopped the WUs distribution but we are continuing the upload.

The site was up today for some time..now it's down again..but at least they inform the people about whats going on. And I also got some wu's...

We have been forced to cancel the workunit and result tables and restart from scratch the submission of WUs. For those of you who are concerned about the pending credits, we will look a possible solution to assign you them asap.

well :-)

The project has just come back up to me... well so i can see the homepage but the news post isnt very pleasing:

"We have been forced to cancel the workunit and result tables and restart from scratch the submission of WUs. For those of you who are concerned about the pending credits, we will look a possible solution to assign you them asap."

So what does that mean?

I hope they mean the wu's sent out today (after the downtime)...would be really sad if all wu's were in some way "corrupt". I guess we have to wait some hours to find out (via their news or forum).

Hmm... well... as I read it:

Your granted credits are gone forever, but we will look for a solution to give you at least your pending credits.

Sad, but P@H is still alpha, so we have to live with it.

Yes..you may be right. And yes..it's still Alpha, so we can expect such things until the projects is in a it's final stage. Despite the possible aspect of loosing all the credits, I like this project for two reasons. Predictor has a nice goal and a very good info politic.
