I have several computers running boinc, and they all seem to have been able to upload their work now except for one computer. This computer was down for a day or so while I replaced the motherboard.

Using BoincView, it shows that the next upload retry will be in negative 1 day. The time is expanding getting more and becoming more negative, and it never attempts to reconnect as it appears to be counting to a time in the past!

Surely, if the time is in the past it should attempt an immediate retry?

How can i force it to attempt a retry and end this silliness?

marty

I am using the CLI version. (linux)

I don't see any retry option there....
Perhaps its obvious?

Maybe it was trying to go back to one of the days BOINC was actually working.

Go to your "Transfer" tab to force the system to update sooner. Select the wu that you want to update, right click and then left click on "Retry". If I remember right.
