How can you post a User of the Day? When the rest of us can not even get work units to prossess.Thats just seams like a slap in the face to me. If i dont have any work by the end of the day I'll donate my time to some one else.

I'm sure it's an automated process that just randomly picks a user and modifies a tiny bit of HTML. The admins don't have to spend any time on it at all.

Of course calling ANYONE a "user" of this project is silly. The project is, after all, unusable. And there isn't any work to be done, any way.
"No work available"......

Automated or not it is still funny!

I have been participating to Seti@Home for a little bit more then 5 years. I have installed the new version because I had trouble getting WU for Seti "classic". Now it is even worse then it was.

So far I have been patient and I will wait until thursday night 23:59:59 UTC, which is about 8 p.m. local time for me. If I can't get some work by then I will simply detach myself from Seti and go somewhere else. Will I ever come back?

snap

The term must be redefined ; I think is the lucky bastard who had received at least one WU during a day. I received ONE today.

You can bet your bottom dollar that the top 100, the overclockers and those rich enough to string together a dozen or so PCs will be getting their allocation.

Berkeley is part of the USA establishment and the USA establishment looks after their own and those who can afford to look as though they belong.

I bet the apologists on this forum are being put on the Berkeley secret list to ensure that they get their WUs daily.

And until Berkeley starts telling the Seti world what is going on, anything I say or anyone else says is the truth and totally believable. There is nothing to contradict my thoughts, views and opinions coming from the "manager" of the Seti project or the "coordinator" of Bonk. When Anderson (from Bonk) starts posting on this forum and starts telling us what his Bonk project is up to I will retract my edict that my words are the truth.

Until then believe.
