While I believe that this project is a good project, and I've participated in the classic version, I think that we all should just shut down our current copies of BOINC for about a month. Suspend, exit, uninstall, etc. A month, maybe more. This would allow the folks at BOINC to troubleshoot something that is given to us for free. I'm not upset that my WU's got lost. Shoot, I'm trying to help SETI out. I don't get paid for it. My computer doesn't crunch fast enough to win me a SETI@HOME T-shirt so the level of competitiveness isn't such that I am worried about "losing". August is here. Some of us have kids going back to school, others of us still have a month of summer vacation. Take a break Ya'll!!! Go outside, go to the beach. BOINC'll be here in the fall. Give 'em a break.

The pieces of code that are breaking are breaking because of the load. If the load goes away, then so does the ability to test the fixes that are supposed to help cope with the load.

I'll be back when they tell us they have actually fixed something and give us the details. Up till now they obviously haven't fixed anything.
