Since two days the only thing I get to see is this: SETI@home - 2004-08-03 19:36:54 - Started upload of 13ja04aa.11634.27345.148584.26_1_0 SETI@home - 2004-08-03 19:36:55 - Temporarily failed upload of 13ja04aa.11634.27345.148584.43_0_0 SETI@home - 2004-08-03 19:36:55 - Backing off 24 minutes and 55 seconds on transfer of file 13ja04aa.11634.27345.148584.43_0_0 SETI@home - 2004-08-03 19:37:15 - Temporarily failed upload of 13ja04aa.11634.27345.148584.26_1_0 SETI@home - 2004-08-03 19:37:15 - Backing off 1 hours, 56 minutes, and 25 seconds on transfer of file 13ja04aa.11634.27345.148584.26_1_0 SETI@home - 2004-08-03 19:39:46 - Started upload of 10ja04ab.26943.10320.90902.162_3_0 SETI@home - 2004-08-03 19:40:05 - Temporarily failed upload of 10ja04ab.26943.10320.90902.162_3_0 SETI@home - 2004-08-03 19:40:05 - Backing off 3 hours, 9 minutes, and 53 seconds on transfer of file 10ja04ab.26943.10320.90902.162_3_0 SETI@home - 2004-08-03 19:43:14 - Started upload of 10ja04ab.26943.10320.90902.153_2_0 SETI@home - 2004-08-03 19:43:30 - Temporarily failed upload of 10ja04ab.26943.10320.90902.153_2_0 SETI@home - 2004-08-03 19:43:30 - Backing off 3 hours, 46 minutes, and 35 seconds on transfer of file 10ja04ab.26943.10320.90902.153_2_0 And so on. Meanwhile I ran out of wu's and did not get just a single new one. What is going on? (Boinc 3.20) |

I have the same problem and I think a lot of other people too. Looking at the front page, this is the news: August 3, 2004 While the project is up and functioning normally, the database and web servers are overloaded. Because of this you may have noticed difficulty in transferring work and loading certain web pages. We're tuning these servers and trying to find the bottlenecks now. August 2, 2004 The project remained down all weekend, but we are back up now. To add insult to injury, the entire lab lost network connectivity to the rest of the world for a few hours this morning. In light of the unexpected length of this last outage, we are looking into mechanisms that allow us to keep certain parts of the project up while others remain down for repair. Therefore I think we will need to have some patient before being able to upload results as well as to download fresh WU's. Greetings from Belgium. Help Desk: use "Most recent answer first" sorting |

> Therefore I think we will need to have some patient before > being able to upload results as well as to download fresh WU's. This problem has been going on for nearly a week now. I have finally been able to upload some, but not all, of my completed work units by manually trying repeatedly, but there are apparently no new work units available. It would be nice if they would give a little more detailed information on the main page and update it at least once if not twice daily when things are not going well. Rocky |

Just be patient, I had 7 work units from last week before the bug. It has taken me 2 days to get 6 of the 7 WU's uploaded and have not received any work either. |

Another Question along this same lines, I have 4 WU's ready to U/L that expire in two days. If they expire will the just get trashed and will I not get credit for em? Kage_ |

Don't worry, though. Due to the bug they (maybe) fixed, you wouldn't have received credit for them anyway. :( "No work available"..... |
