Total credit 246.90
Recent average credit 15.83
SETI@home classic workunits
as of 15 March 2005 3,906
SETI@home classic CPU time
as of 15 March 2005 54,911 hours

Why does may total credit only say 246.90 and not 3,906?

Because Classic credits are not converted to BOINC credits, take a look in the questions and answers, this is definatly the most asked question there.

Because the 246.90 CREDITS are not the same as the 3,906 work units.

SETI BOINC creditss are calculated based on total CPU tim used. Classic gave you one point for each work unit you crunched.

Nope!! Classic Credit DO NOT transfer into BOINC credits..

Those team members might have been crunching both BOINC and Classic for some time so it appears they did, but they did not..

Here are some stats of some of the others people in my group. But I do not know how long these people have been using BONIC and not Classic SETI (Right?), that would be the reason that they have more total credits the myself.

One more time:
Total Credit is the total amount of BOINC credit you received.
Recent Average Credit: is the day average of BOINC credit you received.

They DO NOT include CLASSIC credit for ANYONE.

Okay here is what you missed:

Team Minnesota Astronomical Society
Computers hidden
You can see that they completed 21,843 units in Classic as of 15 March 2005. But in Boinc they have 42,702 credits. Do you really think that this person DOUBLED there total number of units processed in just 8 months?! From the 15th of March when they had 21,843 to now when they have, according to you, 42,703.82? And how did they get that .82 credits?
In Classic one workunit was worth one credit, be it good or bad for Science. That was part of the problems with Classic, a person got credit for a unit even if it was worthless from a Scientific point of view.
In Boinc the harder your computer works the more credits you get.
You get credit based on the amount of time it takes you to process a unit. Yes at first glance this doesn't seem fair, slower computers get more per unit. BUT they do fewer units so faster computers get more credits in the long run.
