One of the members in our team complains that he has got way too many units for his XP+ 2500 pc. He has reduced his cache to 2-4 days but the wu's stille floods his pc.

He has now got 100-150 units and cannot finish them before deadline.

Is this a bug or is it likely that he has had a cache too big before?

Benchmarks:
Measured floating point speed 2208.63 million ops/sec
Measured integer speed 3912.9 million ops/sec

ROFL!

Now we know why there has been a WU shortage - Kirsten's team member has them all! Tell your team member to give them back for a full refund please!

Actually, if your team member re-installed BOINC or made other system changes (such as renaming the PC), that would cause BOINC to ignore the old WU's and just refill the cache. I have noticed that BOINC downloads enough work to fill your cache based on CPU benchmarks and actually usage times. Tell your team member to let the PC run and see how many WU's he/she can finish before they expire.

As for any unfinished WU's, there really isn't anything to do about them - Seti won't reissue them until after the deadline has passed.
