i dont know why, but this Day my Athlon 64 running Windows XP 64 Beta makes this

Your System will shutdown in 30 Seconds

looks like the Sasser Worm

i installed a Software Firewall

http://www.tinysoftware.com/home/tiny2?s=357371090467684105A0&offer=&pg=content&an=tpf64_download

and Antivir, but it found nothing, and is still inaktive after rebooting, the umbrella ist closed...

so if you know a good Virus Programm that is working under Windows XP 64 Beta, post it..

Greetings from Germany NRW

Symantec (Norton) has posted about a Win64 virus on their sites. It's harmless though, just showing off coding.

What I more expect in your case is that you have a Win32 worm going through WOWexec.exe (Windows on Windows)...

Sicne Win64 is beta... it still uses a lot of 32bit software!!
