Upgraded to the new 5.0 and have had loads of client errors. Please don't direct me to Wiki, tell me how to correct this problem. Using 2000 pro on a P3 and 2 cpu's at 1012 gz. and 1024 of 133 ram. If this can't be fixed I'm going back to 4.0, or will try one of the other set ups. |

Seriously, this is a serious error within the running application program and it is one that computer hardware and Operating System manage when the program attempts to do something that is a no-no. UNHANDLED EXCEPTION - Access Violation - Read Attempt Many causes of 0xc0000005 errors are due to a device driver, and especially graphics drivers in the case of SETI@Home. But those usually occur not in the users program but in the driver. http://boinc-doc.net/boinc-wiki/index.php?title=%2A%2A%2AUNHANDLED_EXCEPTION%2A%2A%2A%2A_Reason:_%27%28reason%29%27 And the beat goes on Sonny and Cher BOINC Wiki |
