i downloaded the new version of bionic for the mac (i am running 10.3.9, but the installer says i cannot install (null) on my mac, yet it states it is for 10.3 or higher. Anyone got some ideas?

Hi Glenn, and welcome to BOINC! (You might want to spell it "BOINC" instead of "Bionic", or some people may jump at your throat...)

I don't know of many people using the Mac version. Paul D. Buck is the only one I can remember right now. Myself, I'm using the Windows version, so I can't be of much help to you. Sorry! Maybe you can post a question in Questions & Promblems Macintosh or in Number Crunching. But I advise you to search the forums first for an answer. Use this search box.

Hello Glenn,

did you ever have boinc on this machine before? Did you properly uninstall it? If not respect what it says in the readme of the installer: "Troubleshooting tip: The installer writes a file /Library/Receipts/BOINC.pkg.  If the installer refuses to let you install, trash this file and try again."
I got stuck there as well and could install without problem after removing this receipt.
