I was running the bata/ and Alpha for a couple of months prior to the production Boinc release.

I have installed boinc_3.10 then 3.19 then last week
3.20...
But every time a work unit starts computing it displays version 3.08 not sure if this is a problem.
The exact message I get is:

SETI@home - 2004-07-28 07:33:50 - Starting computation for result 13ja04aa.14664.3569.909646.172_2 using setiathome version 3.08

Everything is Ok. The version of your BOINC client is 3.20 (you can see it at Help / About). Your boinc client uses setiathome version 3.08 to process the WUs. Whenever a new version of the setiathome client is available, BOINC client downloads and installs it automatically.
