One thing I liked about SETI was that it would minimize to my system tray. BOINC does not seem to have that option (at least I cant find it). Is it there and just really really hidden or am I stuck with it in task bar?

Just open up the BOINC Manager and then Exit it from the Desktop, the Manager will still be in the System Tray but not on the Task-bar.

Right Clicking on the BOINC Symbol in the System Tray & you will see the Option to Open the BOINC Manager again ...
