Running "BOINC Beta version 3.20" M1 Release on a Windows XP Pro. Software seems to be running, but the only "Tab" windows that have any activity are the "Messages" and "Work" tabs (the Project tab shows the SETI@home project). I know you guys have been having server problems, but I think I have probably processed at least a half dozen units but the "Transfers" tab is empty and when I go to my "account" page on the BOINC/SET web site, it doesn't show that any results have been uploaded. Are you getting any of this work? |

Check under the message tab it will show that WUWU was uploaded, if you want to remove the completed WUWU from the under the work tab, go to projects, right click on seti and them click update.... |

You will only see something in the transfer tab while a work unit is being downloaded or a result is being uploaded. If you have any work units in the work tab that show completed you can go to the project tab, right click on the seti@home project and left click on update. This will clear the completed work unit from the work tab and report back to SETI that the result has been uploaded. As far as being granted credit. It takes awhile for credit to start showing up. It took one of my computers almost a week before any credit showed up. Each work unit has to be processed by three computers and the results compared before credit is assigned. This is a peer to peer message board. You will very seldom see anyone who works on the development team on here. |

As it was written: Use Update from context menu in Project tab. Watch Messages tab for activity. Regarding credit, every work unit, WU, has to be completed by 3 users, after this is checked and credit can be granted for you. So wait, it takes a few days, in my case it tooks a week, but then it increases every day. And system still has some problems with perfomances so it keeps all received data and they will be processed lated, just keep running. Try WAP user info http://slavko.sk/wap/seti |
