I have just started running BOINC (on WinXP), and am trying to figure out what are connections the program needs. In my firewall (Kerio) I have a rule to allow "TCP Out" for boinc_gui.exe. The program has been running for a few hours, and I see "downloading" and "uploading" messages, so it seems fine. But do I also need "TCP In", or any UDP connection? I don't want megabytes of results sitting on the hard drive because of wrong firewall settings.

From what I can see, BOINC is just using the http port - TCP 80

If you can browse the web from the computer, BOINC should be able to connect fine.
