Do I understand correctly that eventually everyone will be using BOINC and that SETI Classic will be gone forever.

I was active with SETI a couple of years ago, but haven't been active until just the last couple of days.

If BOINC is going to be the main stay, guess I should just start out using BOINC this time, and forget using the Classic Version.

Well, the old seti has been around since 98 or so.
Times change. Software changes.
Projects get updated.
