I'm one of the many who have lost there original account due to an old e-mail address.
Now to make things worse I can't find my team to rejoin them.
When will the team search be up and running?

I don't know, but I send a friend the link to my teampage so he could join the team. And it worked partially, at the moment he is not in the teamlist but his email address is already in the team email list.
So if you have contact with your team, this might be a way to join.
