As a 2500+ classic unit person, a hd crash later and now BOINC ....I'm "boinc"ing it off both my PC's as it is terrible.
As there is no email address to communicate with, I am signing out and while the show was good, It is now time for me to say goodnight

As for e-mail addresses there is always the BOINC mailk list or the BOINC Dev mail list if you weren't too dayum lazy to join them.

That would be 1,296 crunchers who say they are quiting..

Sigh... it's not like I didn't get the stupid thing to work.. .and yup it was 100% set for SETI ....I find it to be bloated and useless causing minor PC problems on 2 different PC's and honestly now not worth my effort!
I like change and progress...but not if it means returning to the stone age before progressing again! As for all the oldies that are bailing....maybe(wow now thats a thought) they have a point!!!

So far the only people we see running away are those that dont' want to take a little more time to make it work right.

You say you are having "minor" PC problems yet you don't say what they are. You want help but you won't take the time to tell people what your problems are in the correct place so they can be answered.

I run BOINC and have been since I starting crunching for SETI. It is running effectively on a variety of platforms. The only minor issue I have turned out to be an issue with another piece of software. Since I reloaded that software the issue has disappearred.

Instead of complaining ask for help.
