First, "TNT for the Brain" is a name of a song by ... Enigma
Second, ... I did a mistake in the message part :(
It should read ...

:Message:
3 digit number + a noun that means ... a swindle.
In general ... it describes a term.

The encrypted message shows you the scheme or the preliminary plan for this term ... and for an expert, it should tell him the origin (nationality) of such plan ... making the term even much easier to find.

The hint is link to a Google search ... showing you some examples.

What is this term? (48 hours remaining)

O&O (Sorry ... no more details)

Any two digit number can be written as 10*a + b, a = 1..9

10*a+b - (a+b) =
10*a - a + b - b =
9*a

All multiples of 9 , up to 81, have the same symbol.

Hans Dorn ... My man! You did it again!

You meet the goal of TNTFB # 02 and described ...glibly... the "Hocus Pucos" used in that.. huh... Psychic "My a$$" ball. You didn't provide a descriptive explanation ;) but hey!... Where will the fun playing with that ball be?

Congratulation!

Based on the time you submitted your answer... you earned 47.05 TNTFB points.
Which brings your total points to 94.92... leading the... con..test?!

You know,..I'll think about it...and...see what I can do.

And yes,...You also deserved...an additional rating of +1.

Stay tuned!... the next TNTFB will be...let's say exceptional.
For hopes that other members...will join ... and put a stop to Hans Dorn's triumphant :o)

If you were at the speed of light wouldn't you be so compressed that you wouldn't be able to reach the switch?
Guesswork: You wouldn't have light because the photons would not be able to move ahead of the car, they would stay try to go behind but reflect from the reflector and build up inside the light causing strange and dangerous things to happen. Perhaps the energy would turn into matter a la E=mc2 and start producing substances inside the light.
End Guesswork

Since nothing can move with light speed, but particles with no rest mass, you'd have to build your "car" out of photons.

I'm not aware of anything else without rest mass.

Putting a headlight on a car made out of photons is rather pointless :o)

Regards Hans

P.S: If you change that to "a car going virtually as fast as light" things are getting interesting.
I don't have an answer right now, but maybe I'll get one in time

P.P.S:

OK, here's my best guess:

The faster you go, the more energetic the photons from your headlight are getting, because of the doppler effect. (Think of gamma rays)

If you point your headlight at an object, these energetic photons will either be
absorbed, making the object appear perfectly black, or pass right through, making the object
perfectly transparent.

So for all practical applications, your headlights have become useless.
You could still use them to read your newspaper, though :o)

Surely at that point you have time dilation, so the headlights would be on for you?

I really don't know ... It all requires for me to push a red button at location A then ... ZAAAAABBBBB! I found myself at location B ... in a blink of an eye ... as the only muscle I could move. :)

You see,... I look at as if I'm riding a train moving at certain speed let's call it (vi). In my hand, there's a ball. If I throw it vertically, where will the ball fall. a) In front of me. b)On my hand. c) Behind me.

Now, ask a pitcher, on the same train, to throw the ball, at a speed equals v1, to a batter at the far end. What is the speed of the ball to an observer who is NOT onboard the train. a)vi. b)2vi. c)Strike 3.

O&O (It's time for me to ... gain some points.)

Answer: Even if we were driving a truck into space, we would still have to have our lights on when driving at the speed of light ... because it's so dark up there :)

Yes, it is a paradox, but even if we are moving at speed of light, the light will be still running away from us.

But ... there's one little catch...

When we are moving at speed of light relatively to some observer, he (the observer) sees that our time is standing still (we look like frozen) and that is called time dilatation. As result, if we are moving at speed of light and we turn our lights on, we will see the lights, but an observer will not see our lights because we are frozen to him.

And while turning our lights on, we will travel infinite distance (again time dilatation)... This relativity business can be really confuzing, but basic idea is that speed of light is constant, regardless of one's speeed. It is always running away from us at 300 000 km/s.

I believe I deserve some TTFB points for my answer ...
So,... according to the time of my post (minus Nov 15)... I got ... 0.93 points.

TTFB Ranking
1- Hans Dorn = 94.92 TTFB points + Total rating of +3
2- Es99 = 47.52 TTFB points + Total rating of +1

I'm using an optimized Boinc client to keep the claimed credit in line with the other users.
I'm claiming 20-25 credits per WU since this seems to be the average granted credit ATM.

The benchmark numbers are pretty ridiculous by themselves.
