I recently joined SETI.USA and have become very impressed with what they have already accomplished and what they plan on accomplishing going forward. The team is comprised of a highly dedicated group of individuals working with great diligence and dedication to become one of the largest and best teams representing the United States. Because of the team’s continued hard work, they’ve recently surpassed 1,000,000 granted credits (10/31/2005)! With that important and well earned milestone behind them, their goal now is to not only break 2,500,00 granted credits by the end of the year, but also add as many new members as possible and have one of the highest RACs of any team. Just think what can be accomplished and discovered with that much computing power dedicated to SETI@HOME.

With your help we can reach these goals and hopefully become the official team for this great country. Together, we will accomplish something amazing!

Come visit our informative website at http://www.setiusa.net/ and see what we're all about.

We look forward to you joining our team.

No, it's Ok, and congratulations with your teamsite! :-) Looks good, I just took a look! And yes, I also think it's impressive what you have accomplished!

Hey FH thanks for the compliement! Some of our members have worked really hard to get our team and site to the state we are currently at.

I am aware of the etiquette/standards of this MB, and have recently kept the recruitment posts to a minimum. As for our fellow members, they are quite an enthusiastic bunch!

Yes, but after you have got your teamsite, you can meet there. And some of us are a very dedicated bunch! We at The Final Front Ear also love to advertize for our team! And IMNSHO there should be room for this! So keep up the good work! :-D

EDIT: Oh, I now see that Phill_UP_007 made a post with links to my thread and my post in the READ ME FIRST BEFORE POSTING! thread. Sorry, Phill_UP_007, but I think it's Ok for a team to be enthusiastic, and since the Team SETI.USA have got their teamsite, their posts advertizing for their team have been reduced.

Other teams also post about their team, and as long they don't start to fill to overflowing the boards, I think it's Ok. We have done that also, and other teams. And as I can see from BlkJack-21's post they are aware of that.
