The BOINC "Account management systems" can be found there, with a vague explanation. It's a work-in-progress.

Even if you uninstall a previous version of BOINC
your WU's are still in your folder and will not be
deleted, the only way to delete them is to manually
do so. Go ahead and install the new Version and
smile!

Now Doc don't do anything stupid remember you'll
always get the question "Are you sure"? thats when you know
you did something you shouldn't.....

WHY in the world did they remove the file>Hide option from the menu? That's plain silly! And to make things worse, they didn't even bother to TELL us that you can just click on the "x" to make it hide. I'm a PC Tech and I've ALWAYS been taught that the "x" shuts down the running app, not that it'll close and hide the app! That's VERY counter-intuitive!
Whoever thought of that idea needs to be taken out behind the woodshed and flogged!

I guess you never noticed that the close button has been hiding the app in the Windows toolbox for at least the last several versions.

I suppose you just never dared touch it for fear of shutting down all your crunching?

(sorry for the scolding tone, I really didn't mean to poke fun...)

I do think it would have been better to expose it as an option and let the user choose whether to hide or shut down when pressing the Close (the big X) button. That option might have drawn your attention to the possibility.
