Thought I'd see if anyone else out there liked to BBQ and I mean real serious BBQ'n.. We have the Best In The West Rib Cookoff every year in Sparks Nevada. Thats about the only BBQ contest that goes on here. But I love it anyhow. Where is Sparks Nevada and when is the cook-off?? Sparks is right next door to Reno Nevada, its the northern part of the state. You can find info about it Here.
