Has anyone got any recommendations for no nonsense free webhosting?

Geocities want to put my e-mail in the Url. I had one site with Cable and Wireless but I forgot the password and then Cable and Wireless got taken over, (my angry rant at them about their refusal to install cable TV in my new flat will be up there forever). I did have a proper site with Tiscali, but they took it down when I didn't pay them. (some people are so touchy)

All the places that used to do them don't seem to do them any more. It's all newfangled Blogs and photo albums. Sigh, I must be getting old.

Aha..the truth is out at last, but not the pwong. I see now why the lure of TFFE appealed to you.

On the stalking: I've alrady got CR as my stalker (he was outside my house again with his nightvision goggles last night. I know it was him because he left a pile of acorn shells and some crack behind). You could talk to him about a 'stalk share' if you like. :-)

Thanks Simon. That's really helpful. The good news is I managed to get the password for my old free site and have been able to dump some stuff there.

I might just have to bite the bullet and find the cash to pay Tiscali and get my proper domain name back.

Its good for hosting images because it allows hotlinking, means i can put all the photos i want on my website, just create multiple accounts if you run out. Also flash, movies, whatever you like.
