I just jumped in from beta and had no problems setting up and getting started on my new cruncher. I built it memorial day weekend and burned it in on classic seti in expectation of this event.
I will be adding the rest of my seti garden as I have time. Let us find the big one. Good luck to all crunchers.

I am jumping out now after reading the newer post. My apoligies to dev and invited testers.I will keep bionic sah 2 inactive until offical date. I'll go back to classic until then. Fyi the changeover routine worked and I was able to download bonic to two of my machines and start working on wu's last night The only hitch was that I had to adjust my preferences for the second machine to recieve work units because the HD is smaller than the first one.
Sorry for any inconvience to your work on setting up this site.

I have a suggestion. Before going inactive with BOINC, set it so that it will not get new WUs [work units]. Crunch the ones you have and let the results upload. Then go inactive. Some users will be waiting for their granted credit on their pending results and if you go inactive with WUs then those users will have to wait longer for those WUs to go out and be crunched by another user[s]. >:-)

Um, are you thinking that SETI@Home on BOINC is not in production? They had an outage to change a breaker in the facility, but the project and 4 others are all active and doing science.

Hi Byron,

I read your posts from time to time in some threads and they are have the same spirit of humanity as I remember from the days of betatest. :)

My family and I are well, the success of BOINC is growing, the problems of SETI@home project with switching from a extrem simple system to BOINC are painfull, but the project (and I am sure the most users) will overcome this.

And I am preparing for vacanction. What shall I need more?

My hope is, you are as well as I am. :)

Wow... talking about BOINC beta test... I have almost all of the client versions starting somewhere in the 1.xx. Why do I keep them?

I dunno.
