...another hard day in the workhouse finished....yawn... Keith- I have little experience with a workhouse gig- But I admit some envy when I see a guy 10 years lacking my age Kicked back on a pension cause he stuck through enough bullshit to earn it. Tomorrow at half past dark I'm joining 8 crazies to step a mast on a 50 foot sailboat- If I'm not killed by a misstep I'll earn enough to eat for a week. I keep the reed wet, but after Labor Day my horn spends too much time in its' case, Til storm season is over and things get back to normal craziness- Requiring musical support and accompaniment. Alot of driving tourists to the Big Dish, And pouring beer at a local joint will hopefully pay the bills Til folks hereabouts decide it's safe to party in earnest- In a couple months...
