I wanted to start a thread simply for the purpose of expressing my love for countries other than my own!

They're so great!

I wanted to start a thread simply for the purpose of expressing my love for countries other than my own!

As I am from one of the other countries; thank you!
I have loved America almost as much as my own country for as long as I can remember. (Sorry for all the "as" in that sentence!) LOL
These days I think about America, and especially the south, more than usual. I hope things will be better soon.

No country is only terrific. All countries has something someone won't like. Same with me. There are lots of things I don't like about my own country, and there are things I don't fancy about America too. But I find myself defending USA towards my natives almost every day... You have to see the overall picture and the people, I beleive. And the people are great. The overall picture seems promising - even in my own country! :D

i consider it a priveledge to be able to be able to participate in SETI@HOME along with many people, from countries all over the world...together, perhaps we can find a signal that proves we are not the only intellegence in the universe...but for certain we can find friends among those who have volunteered to help this project...and it's nice to know i have friends in countries far away from my own...and even in countries not so far away...like CANADA and MEXICO...cheers to us all!

Even at the USA s ugliest most stupid moments you still have to try to imagine a world that did not have as its only Super Power a country that values above all else the basic need to aspire! Im from Derbyshire in the UK and I think you have started a realy most worth while thread.
