Running boincgui with RH9, I leave my linux box up and running BOINC day and night,when I turn off the monitor and recheck it in the morning the gui has has disappeared, I have to restart the gui again... Yeah, mine does it every now and then too. I start it from a command line just to see what it has to say when it does it, but it doesn't tell me anything that helps me at all. It either simply reports "aborted" or "disconnecting: corrupted MAC on input". It doesn't cause me any other problems, so I just start it back up when it happens. |

Mine does the same. It says "Socket error: Too many sockets open". I am having lots of problems with boinc. After running for 36 hours I get a "seg-fault" but both my processors are running at 100% and the keyboard won't work and it won't log out using my mouse. Lots of fun! |

I only run the GUI long enough to see what the status of BOINC is then I kill the GUI. I figure the GUI is another process that will steal a cycle here and a cycle there thus slowing BOINC. |
