hello,

why i have an average of 0,67 with an P4 2,40 Ghz under Linux, where boinc uses the most time about 99,9 % of my CPU? I can turn of there everything, and then there only boinc and networksupport is running (so it must be real fast).

What is an normal average?

How are they count!?

Ok, maybe there are many threads like this, but it would be fine if you can explain it me again.

I do not want credits, i want that my computer can help. It's a bit confusing when i see an average of 150 to 500 at other profiles and mine says 0,67.

The credit granting process is a little more complex with SETI@Home on BOINC. So, Take a look here:

As part of an "unofficial" effort to document the SETI@Home Powered by BOINC, the following documents have been written to aid you in the use of SETI@Home Powered by BOINC:

Thanks! Paul ...

Look in the glossary for the word credit, recent average credit, also there is a discussion of credit in the BOINC Credit FAQ section.
