I've got three computer runing Bonic but one of them has no credits. It has returned 38 results so why no credit?

Because they are all pending!
Look around for topics with "validator" and/or "pending" in it, especially in Number Crunching.

And, of course, look at the technical news and the homepage.

BTW:
The (very good) manual for Boinc is the BoincWiki by Paul D. Buck and Friends.

Technically this should be in the questions but never mind, Berkeley are having a lot of problems at the moment as detailed in the Technical News page, they're making headway in clearing it but the WUs are piling up and they need to have outages to clear off loads of old files, should be sorted in a few days.

I think you'd better bump the one in Numbers as well...

I've seen the 53rd "I'm not getting any credits" whine-- I mean, thread -- in the last two weeks.

You'd think that people who're smart enough to SETI would be smart enough to read existing posts...

I've seen countless of these "Where's my credit?" whines, so a few more or less, well...

Ah, you know people! Why should they bother to read???

some people don't spend much time on the boards...they are going to crunch merrily along until they have a problem...so they are not going to be as informed about these things...then they come here to us for explanations...in other words...it ain't no big thing...be nice to the Klingon.

What does the $ stand for?

US Dollars.

I'd even take some other less valuable currency ;)

Am I right to presume, that you won't let me join in this fine contract?
I could just send you my credits, and you send me the money ;)

Edit:
Of course you were joking, that's why I asked. Could have been some long forgotten valueless currency ;)

Is that supposed to be an ecstacy pill or a credit ?
As the slowest crunchers, WE must hang onto them, they might be worth real gold one day :)

I think you are giving some of them too much credit. I see too many threads repeating themselves weekly. It must be easier to start a new thread than to read the tech news at the appropriate page (or reposted for those who can't seem to find it).

Maybe the way to fix some of that would be to have it set up so that you would have to access the "tech news" before actually getting to the boards... But it would still require someone to actually read

`¤` (¤) is the generic currency symbol, completely devoid of actual value (unlike `$` which is completely devalued, but meaningful symbol).
