I've figured out how to solve the "no work" fiasco::

write direct to berkley

they're reputation as a leading light in coputing in the USA is at stake because their system can't cope with the demand.

I went to http://www.berkeley.edu/about/ and chose a department to have a whinge at.

It mightn't solve the problem immediately, but if enough people drop berkley a line and tell them the problems that we are having to put up with, then maybe the "no work" fiasco will be fixed and the BOINC set up will be given the resources it needs.

Suscribe also to Predictor@home projects (http://predictor.scripps.edu/) and do an Update every day. With this method, my 2 computers are running 24/7 since July 1st without any WU outage.
