I have recently come back to S@H since my departure from the classic long ago, and I noticed all of my workunits are all pending credit. I tried to find an answer on the forums but I couldn't find what i was looking for, so I thought I'd try to get some feedback.

From what I read, I understood that I only get credit for a particular workunit when it gets validated among another CPU that has done the same workunit? If so, then all of my pending credit is because my workunits have not been completed by another user? Thanks for any info.

Not nessesarily. Right now theres a big bottle neck involving the Validator. Not very many units are being validated, so its taking quite some time.

Of course you could be the first one to report your WU in, and the other 3 crunchers have not yet reported a completed WU. It will show pending until UCB gets at a very minimum of 3 WU's reported, and then when it validates, you will then get your credit.

In general, there is about a week long window for work units to run through the process and for them to be granted credit. As noted, we are having a slightly longer interval with the other things going on.

If you start with the word "Credit" in the Wiki and follow the links you will likely get lost ... :)

But, it does explain how all the pieces fit together. The FAQ also has some nice words too ... :)

I know, you are out of school and hate the thought of homework .... :)

I have the same issue. nothing has been credited since the 13th of August.

Aug. 9, then I should have some more soon. Was away for 4 days, and had a bunch on the computer waiting, finihed them up when I got back and got credit for them, the rest were from Aug. 10 and later, should start comming through tomarrow again.

According to Matt this was happening on Classic also for the last 5 years, but with being granted one credit prior to validation we did not see it as users. The validation que seems to be staying stedy now, so we should be getting close to our regular credit soon, but close to 10 days after turned in. Just this time between is angionazing to some prople but I would not want to go back to one unit = 1 credit from the classic system, this will be much better in the long run and give them better results.
