OK, the link won't work. Try MSNBC Video Headlines, then Biz - Tech, then Sci - Tech, The Odds of Alien Life. The video is much better than this post....

Err no...

Install MSN Video enhanced

I have a thing against doing that.

Then there is the part of:
Amazing video quality
Install this free software, and then receive select videos delivered to your computer in crystal-clear quality.*

*Broadband connection required: Cable, DSL, T1, or ISDN
Delivery time for your first video may be up to several hours.

Instant notification
Click the system tray icon to instantly launch the player when new video arrives. You can find crystal-clear quality videos in the left menu under MSN Video Enhanced.

So it runs constantly in my system tray taking up no mentioned amounts of my crunching cycles?

So err no and again NO!

But thanks. :)

I don't know about MSN Video Enhanced - I may have installed it long ago and don't remember. I don't have anything in my system tray related to the video, and I checked processor utilization during playback, and it was 3-4% - no processor use when not actually playing videos. I do figure not everyone will like doing this, and it would suck on a dial-up, but for me, I want to do more with my cpu than crunch. So far, I haven't had any problems with the plug-ins or multimedia apps (watch my box crash now that I said that %-))

Best Regards, jb
