That's some good info I didn't have.
But they still avoided the CPU multiplier settings for the different processors.

Thanks,

Jim Scott

Jim.
I looked on the Asrock site and as far as I can tell all the info is there, take a look yourself.

If you google Sempron 2400+ specifications there's plenty of results.
It's a 1.667GHz processor with a 333MHz front side bus.
http://www.dealtime.com/xPF-AMD_AMD_Sempron_2400_1_6Ghz_Socket_A_256KB_333Mhx_Boxed

For the jumper settings look at the user manual
http://www.asrock.com/Drivers/Manual/K7VM3_UM.pdf

For a FSB of 333MHz FSB_SEL1 jumper 2-3

Speed is 1.667GHZ so the multiplier would be 5
That would be FID0 2-3 FID1 2-3 FID2 1-2 FID3 2-3 FID4 2-3

Just make sure your memory speed matches your FSB speed.

FSB of 266MHz FSB_SEL1 jumper off?
Multiplier 6 FID0 2-3 FID1 1-2 FID2 1-2 FID3 2-3 FID4 2-3 ?
Speed would be 1596 (slight underclock)

should work (according to what info I've been able to find) but your best solution would be the proper bus speed, multiplier, and memory.

¿¡"Google-Foo"?! ROTFLAO!!

In all seriousness, I've found quite a few manuals cross-referencing manufacturers' websites - Especially their FTP servers. A good search engine that can filter according to URL will (9/10) point you in the right direction.

Luck with the jumpers. !-)

Google Sempron 2200+ specifications. FSB is 333MHz, Processor speed is 1.5GHz. Go through the manual here and set the FSB_SEL (front side bus speed) and FID jumpers (multiplier). With a 333MHz FSB the multiplier would be 4.5. With a 266MHz FSB the multiplier would be 5.5 (can't do a multiplier of 5.63 so it's an underclock to 1.43GHz).
