I am running boinc on a stable debian install, and I can login to my account from the Seti website, but my boinc manager says that my key is invalid and automatically removes the seti project. I've had to type in that dang account # four times by hand and I'm sick of it. I previously tried boinc when it first came out but didn't like the graphics so I removed it and forgot about it. Now trying Boinc again I have my choice of using boinc or Folding@home in my new cluster project, and if I can't get Seti to work then it'll have to be FAH. I will not make a new account since I have 2,500 WU's credit that I am proud of on my old account.

All I can say is you must be typing it in wrong, just cut n paste it, but make sure you do not have any spaces at the front or rear of the URL and Acct/PW....

Linux version doesn't allow one to paste. I will try again and this time be extra extra extra extra careful.
