They have turned off a lot of the user options in a effort to try and speed up the Server, when they will turn them back on is anybody's guess...Also Validation of WU's turned in has been very slow for about 3 days now, why I don't really know other than problems with the Server & a lot of WU's having to be sent back out again for the 4-5-6th time ... |

Yeah, before this weekend I was earning about 50 credit every ten minutes (4000/day roughly), now I am seeing about 200 credit every 24 hours. I think we are all waiting on the 200,000 WU's to be completed that Seti requeued.... <a> |

Poorboy, You have it right. The developers are doing it exactly right. First make it work. Then remove the bugs that make it not work correctly. Then work on making it efficient. You don't want to waste time making code super efficent if it will have zero impact on the total processing time. You want to find the 10% of the code that causes 90% of the problems. The listing of the results in the pending credit and results pages is, ahem, not very good code because they are pulling way to much data that is just not needed. At anyrate, the check is in the mail ... |

I am also a little pissed about this past weekend. I have not been credited for about the last 35-40 workunits. Even the ones submitted today have not been credited to me. The seti boinc web site says this was fixed 2 days ago, so where are my credits? :( |

As long there are no 2 other claimed credits for the same WU, credits cannot be granted. There is also a deadline of reporting of 14 days for each WU. In normal condition, credits are awarded between some 5 to 10 days, depending on the speed of processing of the 2 other PC's, but it can take up to 14 days at maximum. To have some more explanation about credits calculation you can have a look here. Greetings from Belgium. |

Not only am I getting very little credit, I've noticed my average credit going down instead of up. Out of the 2 times they issued me credit in the last 3-4 days my average credit has gone from 336 down to 280. Is it just me or has anyone else noticed this? |
