Yes, I saw the news saying that the generation of new work units had stopped recently, but it says they fixed that, yet since I installed it last night my client still hasn't seen any other response but this one when it tries to download work units.

Are others seeing this or do I have something configured wrong?

It's still the same cause. Just because they fixed the problem and it is now generating work units, doesn't mean they have any at the moment you ask for them, or that they have ENOUGH for everyone. If it says "No work available", it means there is no work available at that moment.
