I'm running BOINC on 3 machines. I have no problems on 2 of them but the third machine says "can't resolve host name....", error upload handler error -10022. what is wrong with that machine?

One of many results found in Paul's Wiki when I searched for "can't resolve host name..."

Error

A veritable wealth of information. Just takes some getting used to finding it all. Good luck, and happy boincing!

Can you send me the logs? Zip up all the .TXT (and if present the .OLD) files in the BOINC Directory. Send them to: p.d.buck@comcast.net

With regard to the network problem, Ian wrote a tool that does some analysis of you network. It is a batch file to be run on your system (no I have not written detailed procedure yet). It is in the "How-To" Guide on troubleshooting your network, about half way down the page in "Ping Test", download that file, run it in a dos window and post the output log file.
