SetiBoinc screen saver won't run when XP desktop is locked.

Is this going to be fixed soon? I believe many users have to lock their machines at workplace... and Seti classic works??

This forum really needs some way of organising things so answers can be more easily found.

The popular solution seems to be to NOT use the BOINC SETI@Home as a screen saver, and to use some other (low processor load) locking screen saver. Set BOINC to run in the background always, or at least when the computer is not busy. The only disadvantage is that you don't have the graphical SETI@Home display, but in the Classic version, most people turned that off anyway, to dedicate more clock cycles to 'real' calculations.

Ok, that could solve it for some.

I still hope this will be fixed, as the idea of running Seti as screen saver is the easiest way... and me-likes-the-gfx.. every now and then ;D
