Its not broke so lets fix it GRRRRRRRRRRRRR Outage notices: • We will be having a 5 hour outage tomorrow, starting at 17:00 UTC, in order to optimize and then back up our database. • We will be having a 14 hour outage, starting this Sunday (August 7) at 02:00 UTC, because of major electrical work being done at the lab.

Its not broke so lets fix it GRRRRRRRRRRRRR I don't understand what the problem is Astro Tom... Geeze the staff is doing what they are supposed to do, and at the very least we have some warning. The system may not be broke but it's not at optimum performance yet. They need to transfer classic equipment and install new equipment.

The last time I checked, things are always on the move or changing. Maintainance is always required for something to run smoothly. Would you never change the oil in your new car just because your engine is still running fine? IAS - Where Space Is Golden!

And yet here we go with some more whining. I need about 15-20 of those brewskies to deal with this. If its not in one forum, its in another. Give it a rest, let the seti folks take care of business. They are doing what they can to make this a better program for all of us. So my best advise is this. Shut up, deal with it, and go on with it. Thanks Jeremy
