I wonder now why Boinc is computing a workunit, wich is over its report deadline of July 17th. Also it has still workunits with this deadline in queue. Why did'nt Boinc throw them away and stops computing the dead workunit? |

I don't think anyone knows for sure if you will get credit for results submitted after the deadline. And right now getting new work is difficult. Lately I have managed to keep about three days worth of work in my queue by telling boinc to download 2 weeks of work. If they finally get the "to completion" time problem worked out at least I won't get too many units to process. |

> Why did you download more workunits than you can process in two weeks? Its a very slow machine (Pentium I with 200MHz) which needs approx 48 hours to complete. The major problem was that it down loaded to many work to complete in 14days at the first time though my cache prefs are to keep about 2 to 3 days work. Now I manually deleted this overdue wus and it worked. But I believe its a major bug at boinc which should be corrected as soon as possible. |

If the overdue WU is reissued and the new result has created the quorum with this last result and overdue WU has also been returned, it is possible. Not likley, but theory says that it is possible. |
