I installed Bonic on my computer, I have an account already active, but I can not get the project to start. What is up with that???

Hello and welcome Captain-Shown!

You have to attach Seti to your Boinc.

The (very good) manual for Boinc is the BoincWiki by Paul D. Buck and Friends.

A quick installation guide in this is here.

Gruesse vom Saenger

For questions about Boinc look in the BOINC-Wiki

That is the problem?? I can not find out how to get my project URL. I have the account number. Or should I just start a new account???

Project URL:

http://setiathome.berkeley.edu

Just copy and paste.

(The project url would have been in the email you got (from Berkeley) when you received your account key (account number))

What version of Boinc did you download?

Normally, the best choice is to take the last one, which is version 5.2.2
Read the News at the homepage
Have a look at the Technical News
Look if your question is not answered at the Boinc Wiki

Best greetings, Thierry

SETI is no longer a stand-alone application. SETI can only be run through BOINC (not Bonic).
