Okay, I've tried this for quite some time now. I got like 2 or 3 work units which were completed and returned and that was it. No more work units for the last 21 days and the screensaver staying in "Boinc ist currently idle" mode (no matter for how long it's on and no, I didn't activate the go to blank mode). Sorry but this thing is just crap, seti@home worked like a charm for years and years getting a new work unit as soon as the finished one was sent back. So I'm starting to ask myself why I'm still bothering with this one. Also because there it seems Seti staff answering the questions on this board. :-( (I'm on a 2GHz dual G5 running MacOS X.4.2) At the beginning there was nothing, which exploded. ~ Terry Pratchett ~ |

Which application are you running BOINC under - BOINC Manager, BOINC MenuBar, or CLI in Terminal? If it's BOINC Manager or BOINC MenuBar, have you tried clicking the Update button? C Join Team MacNN |

Have you tried detaching the project, and then re-attaching it? If you have tried that and it doesn't help, I'd then suggest reinstalling BOINC Manager. If that doesn't work, I'd try installing the simple GUI MenuBar and see if it runs any better. C Join Team MacNN |

Okay, detaching and re-attaching worked, now it remains to be seen whether new work will keep coming or if it's going to stop again after three units. :-) I'll keep you updated.
