It seems that there are no tapes in the splitter queue......not a bad idea, it will give the validator etc some time to catch up!

A new tape is being read as I type (it take several hours). Once it is read a fifth splitter will begin digesting it. I can only read in 2 or 3 tapes a day. We used to have a stacker that held 9 tapes, but this broke, so it's all manual for now. Plus, we only have disk space for about 7 tapes at a time, so the "queue" will never really be that long.

They're probably being chewed up as Client Download Errors by the people still using CC 4.13 :)

It seems that several people are ignoring or dismissing what Matt had written about the WUs. Matt is a Berkeley developer and knows what he is talking about.

Here it is again as he wrote it around 22:25UTC:

A new tape is being read as I type (it take several hours). Once it is read a fifth splitter will begin digesting it. I can only read in 2 or 3 tapes a day. We used to have a stacker that held 9 tapes, but this broke, so it's all manual for now. Plus, we only have disk space for about 7 tapes at a time, so the "queue" will never really be that long.

Now move along and allow the crunching to happen.

Ready to send ... 15 ... wow! Lowest I have ever seen it ... then again ... something in the rules said that there would be days like this, and we should join other projects ... but ... I digress ...

Thanks for the info, Matt. As a side note, I think the tape will be done and ready well before I myself need more wu's ;)
