Well Erin Go Braugh, thanks for the info. I kinda guessed that there is a problem at the factory, but I wish they would stop sending work until the fix the problem. Ireland, what a lovely country, my wife's family was from Ireland, (family name of Burrowes) and My fathers father family was from Ireland, common name of Thomas. Hows the weather there, I am in Florida, USA and it is hot and sticky. Raise a glass to you.

Well if they stop sending work then people will get really upset!! at least at the moment CPUs are being kept busy. People here dont linke idle CPUs!! :)

All is good here in Ireland. Did I hear that ye are getting hurricanes already in Florida? Early this year is it not? (maybe i'm wrong!) Heh... I always wanted to see a hurricance... from the safety of a shelter of course!

I see you are using Boinc CC4.45
Go to your Projects tab in the Boinc Manager, press once on Seti@Home, press the button on the left called "No new work".

Seti will stop sending you work that way. Just remember to press that button again (It'll have changed to "Allow new work"), once things are fixed and you're prepared to receive more work. :)

Yes we have had a hurricane pass by us here in Tampa, but it hit higher up in the panhandle. No you don't want to see a hurricane up close, its like your Northern storms but more condensed. Sometimes, even the shelters aren't enough. Also, it is hurricane season now, starts in June and goes through to November. Do you have AIM, Yahoo or MSN messenger? We are still trying to figure out if there is a software reason for the connection drops but are looking at a hardware solution for the short term. We are working to get a more powerful data server machine online. There are several parts to making this work and, barring any show stoppers, we hope to have it online in the next couple of days
