There is nothing wrong on your end. There is something wrong with the servers at UC Berkeley according to SETI@home's home page. You are just going to wait until some sysadmin can come in and try to debug the servers.

If you keep your eye on the server status page on the website this will tell you when the servers are offline and therefore inaccessible.
The status page can be found here

The Simonator must be having better luck from the UK. My machine has been trying to upload packets for several days now and no Luck. Even though the servers say they are fine, they definitely have a problem and the Administrators are aware of it. Looks like we'll just have to wait until they can get their act together.

Mine click through with no apparant trouble at all, maybe there is something between you and the server, maybe there are forces at work beyond our understanding...

It would be nice if they could develop a stable environment.. and stick with it.

If you look at a post I made a few days ago, I;ve been tracking this now for a few weeks. The server seems to repeatedly reject requests for connnections from certain IPs. When I use a dialup, the server gets an
"Internal Server Error" message. When I use a wifi connection everything is fine.

I am still not sure that the Berkeley Boys think that they have a problem bigger than some slow servers.

I have the same problem! I have acumulated around 20 results and some of them get through, but only some.

I hope that they are going to fix it soon :-)

Seems as though they could and should be able to make things more stable, the original version of Seti@home never had any problems, or at least for me. I mean I have 3 computers dedicated to seti@home and sometimes I get many items that don't get uploaded for a while. Also my computers set up for it are idle when they can't download.

Just seems to me that they would get some more resources on this to make things easier for their users who are donating so much to their cause.

They will have more resources for SETI BOINC when they get rid of Classic. Now would not be a good time though. This last outage messed up something and they have to find out what that is first. You obviously weren't with Classic long enough to know of all the problems it had.

I just hope they make it a priority to get things going smoothly.

At least I know I'm not alone! Ditto the problems u/l'ing & d/l'ing for close to a week now. Am splitting time between SETI & ClimatePrediction and their stuff flies in and out. Glad to know the folks and Berkeley are aware and working on it. What does get thru goes very slowly even on my dialup line. Talking under 1K/sec speeds. Ugh!
Jut like Classic, we have bugs here too and they will be really noticeable until Classic is finally put 6' down and all that equipment can be put to use here in BOINCerville.
I suggest we all just kick back, put our feet up, grab a good brew and relax. It works for me. :>

In the BOINC Manager, I just keep clicking "Retry Now" on the transfer section until it goes. Yes, I am impatient... :)

It has worked for me. Can take a while, though...

I'm having the same problem. "retry" "retry", etc. I, too, never had any problems with Classic Seti. Frustrating, yes.

Try using one of the anonymous proxies available on the iternet. This has solved the problem for some users.
