I've been a SETI@home user for almost 6 years now and have processed more than 41,000 work units. I can't find a thing on the new SETI site. The old SETI site was great by comparison. It is frustrating enough for me to consider just dropping out.... Progress normally makes things better, but in this case that's not the case at all....

How difficult do you want it? ;)

Goto this page: http://setiathome.berkeley.edu/index.php
1) Read Rules and Policies
2) As you already have a classic account, se;lect the 'activate it' option.
Answer the questions.
Wait for the e-mail to arrive, it contains your account key and project URL.
3) Download and install BOINC.

Anything you want to know can be found here: http://boinc-doc.net/
or here: http://boinc-doc.net/boinc-wiki/index.php?title=Main_Page

Anything else, ask here or in the Message Boards.

/rant on/ Ya know what bugs me about some people, it is the fact that they know Boinc sucks and have not even tried it out. I can not find anything, of course you can not this is all new to you but does that make it bad.

Classic is simple I will agree and Boinc is complex I will agree also so if you like the complex come on down......./rant off/
