Just out of curiosity, (sp?) How long does it normally take for a "pending credit" to become credit? What is involved in this process?

It is need 3 valid results to reach a quorum, than the credit is granted!

It's a little more complicated than that.

Correct, 3 valid results must be in. The validator then looks at them, and sees if they are within the limits, if not, it then holds them for the 4th unit, and rechecks.

Sometimes bad units come back, or units never come back. So after that, new units go out.

Some units can take several weeks to give credit. All depends on everyone else crunching that same credit. You can actually still get 0 credits for a good WU, if too many errors happen.

Give them time. You already have some validate, I see. More will happen in due time.

Can't resist ... more than 15 minutes and less than a century ... :)

Narrowed it right down, didn't I?

:)

Sorry ...

Also couln't resist:
The (very good) manual for Boinc is the BOINC Powered Projects Documentation by Paul D. Buck and the BoincWiki therein.

For information regarding Credits look here or here!

But it is not always longer than 15 minutes. I have had one granted in less than a minute.

Kind of off topic, but I tried to create an account on Wiki site but had no options to do so. Only had a place to log in, it said to use the form below to create an account but there wasnt anything there.

It's on invitation only.

@Paul, at least he's reading the site... just not the first page. ;)

An improvement to be sure ...

My provisioner killed my old site again ... :(

So, now, Wiki is pretty much all that is left ... the good news is that virtually all of the old site is moved over. If Only there was not still so much work to be done ... the install page is not done and up to date and I am only getting a couple hours in a day ... sometimes it does not seem to pay to get out of bed ...
